Completed in June 2026, this renovation transformed a 50+ year-old home while preserving its original footprint. The project included a complete interior and exterior refresh, along with a redesigned front yard and pool area featuring an open, inviting layout and new pavers surrounding the pool.
The backyard renovation is planned as Phase Two and is scheduled to begin in early spring. Be sure to check back for updated photography showcasing the completed, fully furnished interiors and outdoor living spaces.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was its successful execution almost entirely remotely, in collaboration with a talented local construction team in Spain. All project communication was conducted entirely in Spanish, and every aspect of the design and construction documentation was coordinated using the metric system. Despite the language, distance, and logistical challenges, the renovation was completed with exceptional craftsmanship, effective collaboration, and no significant delays. This project is a testament to MP DESIGN’s ability to successfully manage complex residential renovations across international borders while maintaining the highest standards of design, communication, and execution.
