This home is a two-unit building which needed a mild face lift, some small repairs and decorating/staging to ready it for the market and make it more appealing to prospective buyers. The upper unit is a 3 bedroom/1 bath. The lower unit is a 1 bedroom/1 bath on two levels.
We managed the the whole project A through Z, including hiring and supervising contractors. We selected and specified new exterior and interior paint colors and arranged for minor repairs on the rear of the home and the cottage in the backyard. The old carpets were removed and the existing hardwood floors refinished. All three wood decks and exterior stairs were power washed and refinished. Last but not least, we staged both apartments. Mostly with existing furniture, art, rugs and by adding some new bedding, pillows, lighting, plants, accessories, etc. All improvements and decorating were accomplished on a small budget and in a month’s time.
